Frequently Asked Questions
Coaching begins with connection, not pressure.
What sets Rise Coaching apart?
Rise Coaching was built because I couldn’t find the kind of support I needed — as a nurse, a mother, and a woman who burned out doing “everything right.”
This isn’t a wellness program. It’s a whole-person, nervous-system-aware, nutrition-informed, compassion-led approach to reclaiming your health.
Here’s what makes it different:
- We focus on capacity, confidence, and freedom — not perfection or performance.
- You’re seen as a whole human, not a set of symptoms.
- Your lived experience matters just as much as the science.
- We work gently, sustainably, and realistically — no pressure, no push.
Rise Coaching bridges the gap between what healthcare couldn’t hold and what traditional coaching often overlooks. It’s support that finally feels like it fits.
What is Wellness Coaching, and how can it help me?
Wellness Coaching is a personalized approach to improving your overall well-being, focusing on areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and more. A wellness coach provides guidance, support, and accountability to help you set and achieve your health goals, leading to a happier and healthier life.
How is Wellness Coaching different from therapy or counselling?
While therapy or counselling focuses on addressing past trauma or mental health issues, wellness coaching is forward-focused and goal-oriented. It's about helping you create positive changes in your life, develop healthy habits, and reach your full potential.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of the coaching relationship. Your privacy and confidentiality are always respected, and any information shared during sessions remains confidential unless you provide explicit consent to share it.
What qualifications do you have as a wellness coach?
I am a certified health, life, and transformation coach with extensive experience in nursing and women's health. I hold my certifications from reputable and Canadian accredited coaching programs and adhere to ethical standards and best practices in the coaching industry.
